Betty Jean Mills Yoho, 90, of Lumberport passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021 at her home with her daughter by her side. She was born July 13, 1930 in Paden City a daughter of the late William and Pearl Jones Mills. On January 8, 2011, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Joshua E. “Bud” Yoho, whom she married on November 27, 1947.

She is survived by her loving daughter with whom she made her home, Sandy Yoho May Hardman and her husband, Norman of Lumberport; her sister-in-law, Nettie Mills of Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews. Sandy would like to thank Betty’s devoted caregivers, Janie Hardesty and Patty Sampson for their special care.
In addition to her husband and parents, Betty was preceded in death by her grandson, Toby May and her brothers and sister.
Betty graduated from Magnolia High School in New Martinsville.
Friends will be received at Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St. Shinnston, on Tuesday, May 25, from 11:00 am until the time of her memorial service at 12:00 noon. Pastor Chad Hutson will officiate the service. Interment will follow at the Lumberport Lions Club Cemetery.
