Sandy, so sorry to hear of your moms passing. I know she was where you wanted her in her last days and that was to give her the best care and love . I don’t believe I had the pleasure of meeting your mom or dad , but I heard such wonderful stories from a Janice and Carol I know I would have loved them as much as they did. I know your heart is broken, but remember the wonderful times you had with your mom and with your dad.. and May it bring a smile to your face and love in your heart. Jim and I send our love and will keep you in our prayers for comfort and peace..

My aunt Betty and uncle Bud were 2 of the kindest souls God gave us. The had a way of making every person feel special in their own way!I have the best memories of them. I also learned to swim off that houseboat in the Ohio River. My dad,Charles, threw me in and Betty got soooooo mad at him.

Many of my happiest memories are of times spent with this sweet lady; at her home in New Martinsville, on the boat, or on our beach trips. Betty and Bud were perfect complements to each other and I know that heaven is now a little more complete. Chip and I send our condolences to Sandy and the nieces and nephews. Betty was much loved by all who were blessed to know her.

My Aunt Betty was always the brightest star! She had a smile on her face and would comfort you when needed. She helped me through the death of my father. I have so many memories of going to their houseboat and I loved hearing her laugh and just to hear her tell a story in her wonderful soft voice would just make your day. She extremely loved children and animals. She talked so fondly of her daughter and grandson. I really looked forward to the Christmas times when we went to their home and celebrated. I always felt like I didn't get enough time to spend with Betty and Bud. Ninety years is a lot of time to spend on this earth and she had so many great times and loved to dance. Celebrations couldn't go on without her.
