Thelma Pauline Cochran, 84, of Enterprise, went home to be with the Lord at 7:20pm, Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at WVU Hospitals Ruby Memorial in Morgantown. She was born in Fairmont, October 19, 1936, a daughter of the late James Archie and Bernice Dillow McIntire. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Eugene Cochran on October 22, 2001.

Surviving are her children: Shala Anne Campbell, Warren, OH, Madeline Sue Watts, Enterprise, Bradley Eugene Cochran and his wife Kimberly, Clarksburg, Melody Teets and her husband Arthur, Enterprise, Kimberly Kay Cochran and her companion Trey Moore, Shinnston, Sonya Lee Cochran and her husband Alan George, Petersburg, Roanna Lynn Ash and her husband Lester Ray, Bridgeport, Brian Keith Cochran and his fiancé Reneen McIntire, Worthington, Marvin Lane Cochran and his wife Carol, Jane Lew, Melvin Lynn Cochran, Michael Anthony Cochran and his wife Barbie, Clarksburg, Denise Fetty and her husband Michael, Enterprise, Jeremy Cochran and his wife Kayla, Amanda Cochran, and Abigail Cochran; 25 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brother, Marvin McIntire and his wife Beverly, Owings, special brother, Johnny McIntire and his wife Roberta; her twin sister, Zelma Adams and her husband James, Shinnston, special sister, Patricia Robinette, Enterprise, her sisters, Marlene Maley and her husband Joe, Canton, OH, and Naomi Myers, of Fairmont; a special nephew, David Begunich and his wife Tammy, Glen Burnie, MD, and several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews. She also leaves behind some special friends, Bobby Shields and his wife Kim, Stonewood and Sandra Lawrence, of Charleston.
Thelma was also preceded in death by one son, Marcus Allen Cochran, one sister, Lillian Begunich, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Thelma was a homemaker and spent her life taking care of her large family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a Methodist by faith and attended the Enterprise Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston, from 4-8pm, Sunday and 2-8pm, Monday. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11am, Tuesday, April 27, with Pastor Chad Weaver officiating. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Enterprise.
