Robert Glen Tannehill, 68, of Shinnston, passed away at 12:30am, Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Great Falls, Montana, January 16, 1952, a son of Elsie Kaul Tannehill Swendseid, who survives, and the late Glenn Meyers Tannehill. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years, Rose Theresa Arcuri Moore Tannehill.

Also surviving are his daughters; Roberta Casto and her husband Charles, Shinnston, Lisa Bartlett and her husband Greg, Bridgeport, Dee Wallo and her husband Paul, Shinnston, Rose Kellar and her husband Jeremiah, Bridgeport, his sons; Jeffrey Moore and his wife Ginger, Bruceton Mills, James Moore and his wife Helen, Fairview, Charles Moore, Jr. and is wife Delores, Fairmont, his grandchildren; Austin and Audrey Casto, Ashley Zehner and her husband Matt, Bridgeport, J.J. Moore, Shinnston, Carlina, Randy, and Kevin Ford, Harry, Wade, and Debbie Kellar, Tricia and Tiffany Moore, Melissa Albert, Michael Moore, Misty Clevenger, Tonya Hubbart, Kim Hardesty-Nine, Regina, Patty, and Jenny Moore, and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind two brothers; Jerry Tannehill, Fairmont, and Jim Tannehill and his wife Rebecca, West Yellowstone, Montana.
In addition to his father, Robert was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy and Gary Moore, one grandson, Tony Moore, one granddaughter, Renee Kellar, and one sister Carol Johnson.
Robert was a veteran having served with the United States Navy. He was formerly employed by Waste Management as a truck driver in the oil field services. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and participating in archery competitions.
In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Tannehill was cremated. The family will receive friends from 10am until the time of the memorial service at 12:30pm, Monday, November 16. Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown where full military honors will be accorded by the U.S. Navy and the Harrison County Honor Guard.
