William Lee Baker, 62, of Hepzibah, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on December 22, 2019 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

He was born in Clarksburg on July 17, 1957 a son of the late Raymond O. and Lucille M. Stout Baker.
William is survived by his two sons, William L. Baker Jr. and Timothy D. Baker of Shinnston; his granddaughter, Giana Williams; two brothers, Raymond (Kim) Baker Jr. of West Milford; and Michael Baker of Haywood; his sister, Traci (Mark) Gregory of Haywood; his life-long friend, Howie Lawson, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his sister, Robin Baker; his paternal grandparents, Presley and Mable Baker; and his maternal grandparents, William and Estie Stout.
William served our country in the U.S. Army as an Artillery Mechanic. He was previously employed at Bridgeport Construction Company. William enjoyed the outdoors and in his spare time could be found hunting and fishing.
