Cecil M. Gross, 90, of Meadowbrook, formerly of Tallmadge, OH, passed away on Saturday, December, 12, 2020. He was born in Newcomerstown, OH, January 27, 1930, a son of the late Charles Cecil and Farie Pearl Waggoner Gross. On December 28, 1951, he married, Gwendolyn R. “Tiny” Shingleton Gross who survives.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Regina Ann Gross, and one sister, Shirley Ruth Gross Shingleton.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Cecil retired as a Master Sargent from the United States Air Force after serving his country for more than 22 years. In his second career, he retired from the United States Postal Service with 20 years service. He enjoyed telling stories about his time in the Air Force. He was a wonderful father and husband who provided well for his family. He will be sadly missed.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Entombment will be in the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery & Mausoleum. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.perinefunerals.com. The Perine Funeral Home is honored to serve the Gross family.
